Birth – Amber, The Trisomy 18 journey of 'my little fox'

Amber Marina Lily . Born at 6.12pm by c section. She weighs 4lbs11oz and is trying to breathe but needs some help at the moment so she’s on cpap and may be intubated if she gets tired. So far the doctors don’t think she has oesophageal atresia which is wonderful. I’m exhausted and waiting for enough recovery from surgery to be allowed to go and see her in the nicu but they made sure I got to see her in theatre, hold her tiny hand and kiss her before they took her for evaluation.
